The Marble Heritage Walls will honor the immigrants who came to Vermont to harvest her rich resource of marble. Our vision for the walls is Dimension Stone placed in select locales engraved with both regional contributors and immigrants who fled Europe and brought resourcefulness, hope, commitment and talents that have contributed significantly to Vermont's famed independent spirit and ethnic make-up.

It's happening now!
Walls are being permanently placed in the towns of Proctor and West Rutland. It's a unique opportunity to recognize, memorialize and celebrate the family and friends of the marble industry who came to Vermont to build a community and a new life.
